“Death? There’s an app for that.” That’s the catchy tagline for the upcoming tech-horror film, CountdownWe reported on this film earlier this year when YOU star, Elizabeth Lail, was first announced as joining the cast.

STXFilms wasted no time in getting this movie on the market. It’s already slated for release in time for Halloween! The first official trailer for Countdown is now available online, and it looks like it’s going to be incredibly entertaining.

AHS 1984 has the best opening credits of the show thus far

Ryan Murphy excited fans yesterday by sharing the official opening title credits sequence! Less than a week left before American Horror Story returns.

It may be 2019, but the ’80s are all the rage in horror this year! First Stranger Thingsreturns to the classic era for a summer of madness, and now American Horror Storyis set to deliver an epic story.

For the past few weeks, FX has been heavily promoting the upcoming season with teasers, an official trailer, and several character posters. Yesterday, series creator Ryan Murphy dropped the complete opening credits sequence on his Instagram.

In Search of Darkness: The definitive documentary on ’80s horror set for world premiere

Definitive ’80s horror documentary, In Search of Darkness, will have its official world premiere this October in Los Angeles.

Get first-hand knowledge of what it was like working on horror in the 1980s from the greats like Barbara Crampton (Re-AnimatorFrom Beyond), John Carpenter (HalloweenThe Thing), and Don Mancini (Child’s PlayCurse of Chucky) in the definitive documentary on ’80s horror, In Search of Darkness.

The film is set to celebrate its world premiere on October 6 at the Beyond Festival. Last year after an incredibly successful crowd-funding campaign, In Search of Darkness was born.

Dark Shadows sequel series is officially in the works at The CW

A sequel series to Dark Shadows is officially in the works at The CW. The series is tentatively titled Dark Shadows: Reincarnation.

Beloved gothic drama series, Dark Shadows, is being eyed as the next classic TV soap opera to get a modern-day revival. Dark Shadows already received one reboot with the 2012 film directed by Tim Burton.

Burton’s version of the story didn’t do so well with critics, but it performed admirably at the box office. Could a television show do better?

Don’t miss Tony Todd in this latest frightfest when Candy Corn hits VOD later this month. If you’re a fan of slashers, this movie is a can’t miss.

It’s Halloween night in your average sleepy small town. Candy Corn begins with your typical grab bag local bullies meeting at a diner to plan their next hazing ritual. The victim is a local boy who recently became employed at the town freakshow. They torment him on an annual basis.

“Aren’t you getting a little old to pick on this kid?” The lone girl of the group asks. By the hesitation and dim looks on their stupefied faces, they’d never considered the possibility. There must indeed be nothing to do in this town.

Halloween Kills is shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina this week

Look out Wilmington, Michael Myers is on his way to you! Halloween Kills is set to start filming very soon and the production starts in North Carolina.

Not only is Halloween (2018) getting the sequel treatment, it’s actually getting two. Halloween Kills will be released in 2020 and it will be followed by Halloween Ends in 2021. If you enjoyed Halloween (2018) you should be happy to know that much of the same cast and crew is returning!

The original Laurie Strodes herself, Jamie Lee Curtis, will reprise her role and John Carpenter will be back to compose. Danny McBride, who is doing quite well for himself with his HBO series The Righteous Gemstones scoring a renewal, will return to write and David Gordon Green will be back to direct.

Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe receive rave reviews for A24’s upcoming horror film The Lighthouse

Two lighthouse keepers begin to lose their grip on sanity during their time in solitude. A24’s The Lighthouse is receiving rave reviews at TIFF.

If you loved The Witch then you’ll be happy to know that Robert Eggers is back with a new horror film and critics are already dubbing it an instant classic. The Lighthouse is a black-and-white film that stars Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe as two lighthouse keepers.

The men are quarantined on a mysterious island in New England during the 1890s. While there, they begin experiencing hallucinations and disturbing events causing both of them to question their sanity and mental acuity.
