Dark Pictures Anthology teases next game: Is it about witches?

Man of Medan just released a couple of days ago, but the trailer for the next game in the Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope is already out! Is it about witches?

If you spent your Labor Day weekend playing the Until Dawn follow-up, Man of Medan, from Supermassive Games like I did then you saw the awesome teaser trailer for Little Hope.

Man of Medan was the first official release in the planned horror game anthology series titled Dark PicturesLittle Hope will be the second game in the series. So far, we know it will feature a performance from Will Poulter who you’ll recognize Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Ari Aster’s Midsommar.

Beyond Poulter’s casting, the teaser only gives us the briefest taste of what we can anticipate from the next installment. It will be a terrestrial, Stephen King-esque setting as opposed to the sea-faring horror faced in Man of Medan.

Man of Medan: A fun follow-up to Until Dawn but leaves a lot to be desired

Supermassive Games has released the first game in their Dark Pictures Anthology. Many fans rushed out to buy Man of Medan this weekend. How did it stack up to its predecessor, Until Dawn?

Fans of Until Dawn have been eagerly awaiting the release of Supermassive Games’ next interactive horror project, Man of Medan. It is the first game in a planned anthology series. So, is it worth buying?

When Until Dawn was released in 2015, it became one of the most talked-about games of the year. It had a compelling cast with actors like Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek, a haunting storyline with an excellent bait-and-switch, and it was a genuinely terrifying interactive cinematic experience.

Man of Medan is a worthy successor to Until Dawn in lots of ways. It has an engaging story, genuine scares, and plenty of collectibles for avid fans to hunt for throughout their playthrough.

When the year began with the breakout horror, Us, I knew it 2019 was going to be an interesting one for the horror genre. The mainstream hits haven’t been extraordinary. The latest film from The Conjuring franchise, The Curse of La Llorona, fell flat, and Pet Sematary was mostly a dud.

But the offbeat psychological thrillers like Ma and Greta delighted in ways I hadn’t expected. Then came Netflix’s twisted, erotic, wicked film, The Perfection.
