Amina Sola, the lonely soul. A suitable patron saint to be identified in this episode of New Amsterdam and to perhaps one of the loneliest people on the show — Lauren Bloom. 

Ever since beginning her custom ADD treatment, Lauren has been in a downward spiral. She claims to have gone cold turkey but in the last episode we saw Helen digging through her purse to see if this was true or not. Is Helen making it all up in her head or is Lauren still secretly using? This is a question that haunts the latest episode.

Will discovers a small technicality in he and Mia’s previous divorce papers, he realizes they are still technically married. The fix should be easy right? Just sign and deliver. But Will is having a difficult time resisting Mia’s worldly charms. He needs Angie to go full-throttle and prevent him throwing out the papers altogether. But then Mia speaks in foreign languages and does all those quirky little things that Will loves and he can’t resist falling back into bed with her, forcing Angie to kick him off the grid, after all, it’s for single parents only and if Will is still married, he’s not a single parent.

The Rookie – Redwood – Review: All Hands on Deck

Redwood, a.k.a. the Vice President, is in town and that means all hands on deck to cover the added security that necessitates. With the motorcade and plethora of patrol cars around, traffic will be a nightmare which means tensions will rise, protests will block intersections, sidewalks have to be blocked off, the list is endless. 

West and Lopez are assigned to patrol an apartment complex where a protest has assembled out front.

Spencer takes a stand against gang violence while Coop gets involved in it on a new episode of All American aptly titled m.A.A.d. city.

If you’re a fan of Kendrick Lamar then you’ve probably heard his song “m.A.A.d. city” before, and even if you aren’t a regular listener the song has gained notoriety for the depth, complexity, and emotional core of its lyrics. It’s fitting title for this episode of All American that addresses gang violence in Crenshaw as a parallel to the violence Lamar experienced in his own childhood.
